In order to reduce the number of dogs being rehomed, remaining in care or being enthusased I have created a Legacy Project – “Zach’s Retirement Home for Dogs”. For every program sold 5% is donated to this project.

The aim to raise $1 million in funds to purchase a home in Western Sydney to create Zach’s Retirement Home For Dogs – A Forever After Home for Dogs without one. A place where dogs can retire for the rest of their life.

The home receives ongoing funding from volunteers, businesses and sponsors. Sponsors select a dog that they will offer ongoing support to take care of the dogs basic needs and will receive updates and can request visitations.

Zach is my gorgeous ten year old moodle who is fortunate to have a loving home and this project was created to achieve the same outcome for other dogs.

Children and dogs are the same they want to be loved and enjoy living in a stable home environment. Whilst fostering or adopting dogs is a wonderful idea unfortunately it does not stop the dogs from being moved around to different owners and families nor does it stop them from being left on the street to die or neglected.

We are looking for loving sponsors from the community to take ownership of a dog by contributing monthly to take care of the dog’s need – food, vet care, minders, and bedding. As a sponsor, you will receive updates, photos of your beloved on our Facebook page, if you live locally you will have visitation rights and receive invitations to our events and to the opening of this facility.

Due to the increasing number of dogs being abandoned or killed, the aim is to give dogs a forever after home based in Western Sydney, a place they will stay for as long as they live. To stay in a loving home rather than a facility waiting for someone to adopt them or being put down due to a lack of resources to care for them.

We would love support from the community in the way of:
