Many of us hate Mondays, but why?

It starts Sunday night, stressing or worrying about what will happen this week at work. It can be hard to get out of bed on a Monday morning. Tuesday to Thursday is often a mixed roller coaster of emotions and counting the days until it is Friday.

When Friday comes around it is a completely story, even if you are having a bad day you are able to shrug it off more easily because it is ‘Happy Friday’ and you cannot wait until the end of the day, when you have the freedom to do whatever you want.

Why is it that we allow the days of the week to drive our emotions? Why can’t a Tuesday or a Thursday be just as good as a Friday. Why do Monday’s have a feeling of dread and frustration?

Largely it’s because we don’t enjoy what we do. But when you stop allowing the days of the week to drive your emotions and focus on the present moment in time, your perspective changes.

It’s your choice to no longer dread Monday’s or only be happy on a Friday. By changing your mindset, you change your life.
